The Yarn Boutique's owner, Marianne Adams, learned to knit as a small child and knit her first sweater at 15. In June, 2004, after a 15-year career as a technical writer, she seized the opportunity to buy The Yarn Boutique, where she was working at the time.
Her goal is to make The Yarn Boutique the sort of welcoming, helpful shop she herself would enjoy visiting.
